Terms of service

Terms of Service

Welcome to Knoxville Candle Co., a venture of Highcountry Conservation Trust. These terms govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products. All references to "we," "our," and "us" in these terms refer to Highcountry Conservation Trust. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Product Information

We make every effort to display our products accurately, including colors, scents, and specifications. However, we cannot guarantee that your device's display will accurately represent product colors. Product descriptions reflect our genuine characterizations, though individual scent perception varies.

All candles are made in small batches by hand. Minor variations in appearance, wax surface, or container positioning are natural characteristics of handmade products and are not considered defects.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice, though any changes will not affect orders already placed. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated at checkout.

Sales tax will be collected for orders shipped to addresses in Tennessee and other states as required by law.

Orders and Availability

We process orders as they are received. While we maintain inventory of our seasonal collections, specific scents may occasionally be temporarily unavailable. If an item you ordered is not available, we will contact you with options for substitution or refund.

Order confirmation emails do not signify acceptance of your order or confirmation of pricing. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Shipping

We ship to addresses within the United States. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

Candles are fragile items. While we pack carefully, we cannot guarantee that containers will arrive intact. See our Return Policy for information about damaged shipments.

Product Safety

Our candles are intended for decorative and aromatic use when burned according to provided instructions. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from children, pets, flammable materials, and drafts. Always burn candles on heat-resistant surfaces.

You assume all risk and liability associated with the use of our products. Highcountry Conservation Trust is not liable for any property damage, personal injury, or other harm resulting from product use or misuse.
